The Alpha's heavy partner. On its own it flies as a strike fighter-bomber. Docked onto an Alpha's back, it becomes a booster, a fuel tank and an extra missile rack. All wing ordnance has to be dropped before it can switch to Battloid.

Alpha + BetaDocked Configuration
Better Together
The Beta locks onto the Alpha's back, turning two fighters into one heavy strike craft.
In space, the Beta acts as a big fuel tank for the pair.
An Alpha Battloid can keep the Beta on its back for extra thrust.
The Beta's missiles add to the Alpha's, but its chest launchers are blocked while docked.
Use the Alpha's and the Beta's own stats for their parts of the docked pair.
